A little bit of history

Background Twelve months ago we bought ‘The Shack’. This Bungalow / Cottage is on the same private road as our other houses. The original shack, a small shed, was put here by Jann’s grandfather at the end of the 1920’s as a place to stay when he came down from Cross Hands to do some fishing. Over the years the site has been added to, improved and modernised.

Some years ago, in the way properties do, the Shack went out of the family but, fortunately, we have now been able to buy it back. The house was somewhat run down and in need of some severe tlc.

Now Over the past year the house been given a complete makeover. The Shack is now complete and already we have had our first guests.
